Drinking water is the first thing we all do when we wake up. It increases metabolic rate and brain power. By adding these ingredients the properties of water get amazing. Here is my solution to early morning drinks.
Honey does wonders,with a dash of cinnamon it gives the perfect hint of flavor.
1cup hot water
¼ tsp cinnamon
TURMERIC BOASTER TEA
Raw turmeric has amazing health and nutritional benefits. It has an earthy flavor. Grate this strong antioxidant and use it often. Add it in your cooking, blend it in your smoothies or have it as a morning drink.
Back home I remember having turmeric in a glass as a “Haldi doodh”
That golden color latte was very soothing and comforting. So, trust me this one drink will do a lot for your body and over all wellness.
Lemon has extraordinary properties.This particular drink have always been circulating around with its unlimited benefits. Hot or cold drink it regularly. Lemon naturally flushes away all the toxins, boast immune system and maintain a healthy weight.
Most of us adopt the concept of juices loaded with amazing properties but the key is when to consume it and absorb the most nutrients. We should start our day with a GREEN JUICE. Keep switching the vegetables(cucumber, celery, green leaves, ginger, kale, granny smith apple, parsley)
Here I have used half cucumber/half granny smith-apple, celery stick, dash of ginger and some lemon juice.

We can never imagine to start our day without it RIGHT?????? 🙂 In addition to give your metabolism a boost an early morning cup of coffee/tea/herbal alternatives is capable of not only boasting your metabolism but good for concentration and energy levels. We don’t need to make it a meal and have many cups through out the day as it reduces appetite.Avoid adding too much milk and refined sugar.
EARLY MORNING POWER WASH
Your morning routine needs to be nutrient dense and relaxant at the same time. So, get a pitcher h2o and infuse it with your favorite fruits and greens. Once infused you will enjoy this flavorful water. For a quick Detox, I love to prepare this after an indulgent vacation/long weekends and cleanse my body from what i had earlier to beat bloating.
There is no harm in staring your day with Caffeine but try to incorporate any of these these drinks in your morning routine,boost your immune system and get energy from natural alternatives.
Kitchen Tricks ( Raw turmeric freezes well i grate mine with skin and freeze.In this way it is ready to use all the time.Same goes for lemons you find a good deal,get them. Store the zest,juice or cut them in slices/quarters arrange them in a tray once frozen, put them in Ziploc. Have your own supply of lemons. No more artificial lemon juice or half of lemon sitting lonely in the fridge and waiting for his turn to be used. Slices are so convenient and handy for your drinks.)
